What needed solving.

Kinsey Russell sells homes across four Eastern North Carolina cities — Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, and Ayden — and the team was outgrowing their old website fast.

The site was a generic template. Every new listing, price drop, or sold home meant somebody had to manually update the website. City pages and community pages drifted out of date. Buyers would see homes still marked 'Active' weeks after they had actually sold — and trust started slipping.

Kinsey didn't need another website. She needed a system: one place to manage every listing, with the public site updating itself automatically — and pages that could actually rank on Google for each city she works in.

The build.

We built Kinsey a custom website with her own listings system underneath it. No WordPress. No off-the-shelf real estate template. One clean platform she controls end to end.

Manage every listing from one place.

Kinsey adds a home once — address, price, photos, beds, baths, status — and it shows up everywhere it needs to: the main listings page, the right city page, the right community page, the homepage carousel, and its own dedicated detail page. Mark a home as Sold and it updates everywhere instantly.

Every city and community gets its own page.

Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, and Ayden each have a dedicated page tuned for local search. Same for the communities Kinsey works in — Barrington Fields, The Arbors, Kadie Farms, and more. Each one auto-fills with the right listings, so the pages always stay fresh.

Built for buyer searches.

Every listing gets its own detail page with a full photo gallery, the property stats, and a one-tap way to reach Kinsey. The blog publishes guides like 'Homes under $300k in Greenville' and 'New construction tips for first-time buyers' — content that pulls in buyers actively planning a move.

Owned, not rented.

The site runs on a fast, modern foundation tuned for speed and search visibility. Kinsey owns the code on day one — no developer phone calls every time a home goes pending.

One admin

Listing management

Kinsey publishes a listing once — the listings grid, the right city page, the right community page, the homepage, and the listing's own detail page all update automatically.

Dedicated city pages for Greenville, Winterville, Farmville, and Ayden — plus community pages for Barrington Fields, The Arbors, Kadie Farms, and more. Each one built to rank in local search.

Real-time

Listing accuracy

Active, Pending, and Sold filters update the moment Kinsey changes a status. No more sold homes lingering on the site for weeks.

Custom build with no WordPress, no IDX widgets, no page builders. Kinsey owns the platform on day one.

How the engagement ran.

Phased delivery, led by the developers building it at every stage.

01Phase 1 of 5

Mapping how Kinsey actually works

We sat down with Kinsey and walked through her real listing routine — how she adds new homes, drops prices, marks things sold. The system was built around her routine, not around what a generic real estate template happens to support.

02Phase 2 of 5

Building the listings system

The heart of the platform is a custom database of every listing — address, status, photos, the works. Kinsey runs it herself from a clean admin panel. No code, no developer.

03Phase 3 of 5

Connecting listings to every page

The main listings grid, the Active/Pending/Sold filters, each city page, each community page, and the homepage all pull from the same source. One update, everywhere.

04Phase 4 of 5

Built for local search

Each city and community got its own page tuned for Google. The blog publishes content matched to the questions Eastern NC buyers actually search for.

05Phase 5 of 5

Launch and handoff

Launched on a fast modern stack, walked Kinsey through running the admin herself, and stayed on for monthly monitoring as the inventory rotates.
